Missing Circles Math Counting Worksheets
Missing Circles worksheets helps early learners to identify simple patterns and form basic deductive reasoning. These worksheets have easy to follow text, and should be fairly intuitive.
The PDF has 6 pages, and a total of 12 tasks. 10 of the tasks have one set of circles missing, and 2 have two sets missing for an added challenge.
All of the worksheets are mirrored, half count left to right, and the other half right to left. This helps ensure that students learn to use reasoning rather than completing from memory.
The PDF files use vector graphics, this means they can be printed any size, big or small, with no quality loss; it all rests on the quality of your printer.
These PDFs are A4 by default, and will readily scale to standard paper sizes. We recommend printing double-sided on thick paper or card. Cut along the middle guide and laminate in A5 (or whatever scale you choose to print at). Make several sets, with varied reverse sides chosen from other worksheet sets of this kind to prevent completion by memory.
Using laminated cards with dry-wipe markers helps save resources in the long-term, and also helps students develop useful pen-handling skills.
Feel free to download and use these math counting worksheets for personal use, or in the classroom. If you would like to request custom worksheets please leave a comment and we will take it under consideration for future production.
